Hello everyone,

My name is Fabian Granqvist, and I’m the External Commissioner for ISA Umami this year.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a certificate in Health Sciences at Indiana Institute of Technology, where my interest in nutrition, health, and innovation really started to grow. I’m currently pursuing my master’s in Health Food Innovation Management at Maastricht University, a program I enjoy because it combines nutrition science with entrepreneurship and real-world innovation in the food industry.

As External Commissioner, my focus is on building strong relationships with sponsors and external partners, and creating collaborations that bring value both to our members and to our affiliated businesses. I’m excited to help connect students with opportunities, events, and experiences that support their academic and professional growth.

Outside of academics and Umami, I enjoy staying active through sports, exploring new food concepts, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I’m really looking forward to working with the team this year and continuing to grow ISA Umami as a community for learning, networking, and great experiences.
