Hey everyone!

My name is Laura Zamora Peiró, and I will serve as Secretary of the International Student Association Umami during the 2025–2026 academic year.
I am from Valencia, Spain, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. After graduating, I decided to further develop my career in line with my passion for food research and innovation, which led me to pursue the Master’s Degree in Health Food Innovation Management.

As the secretary of UMAMI, I make sure that all members of the association stay informed about our upcoming events and activities. I am also responsible for keeping track of our plans and helping ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Beyond my academic work, I enjoy spending my time doing sports, discovering new places, being outside, and playing music, and I hope to bring some of this creativity and inspiration to the association.

I am thrilled to take on this role and be part of such a dynamic community. I look forward to working with the team to support the association and create meaningful experiences for all our members in the year ahead!
