Hello everyone!

My name is Seti Kanetti, and I am the new Treasurer of the International Student Association Umami. I’m originally from Greece, and I’m truly excited to take on this role and contribute to our student community.

My academic background is in Food Science and Human Nutrition, and I am currently pursuing the Master’s degree in Health Food Innovation Management at Maastricht University. What attracted me most to this program is its interdisciplinary nature — combining nutrition science, consumer behavior, and entrepreneurship — and the way it prepares us to think both scientifically and strategically within the food sector.

Beyond academics, I am a very active and goal-oriented person. I enjoy working out, especially interval training and strength workouts, and I like challenging myself both physically and intellectually. I am also deeply involved in academic projects and entrepreneurial initiatives, particularly those related to functional foods and health innovation.

As Treasurer of Umami, I will be responsible for managing the association’s finances with transparency, precision, and accountability. My aim is to ensure responsible budget allocation, maintain organized and accurate financial records, and support initiatives that enhance both the academic and social experience of our members. With my detail-oriented mindset and structured way of working, I am committed to ensuring financial sustainability while enabling impactful events and collaborations.
