Hi HFIM students!

After the Easter Holidays, the next business trip takes us to Friesland Campina! They are an international Dutch company and home to brands like Chocomel, Campina, ViFit and Landliebe. We have the opportunity to visit their Innovation Center in Wageningen on the 8th of May and they have organized a banging program for us:

We will start at 1pm with a Welcome Presentation about the company, especially the R&D department and the Nutritional Community. After that, we’ll do a Speed Dating Session with Friesland Campina employees and you can ask them everything you ever wanted to know (about working in a food business 😉) and will also get a tour through the Friesland Campina Experience Center.

And this time, they even allow us into the labs, so we’ll get a lab tour, get to peek into the sensory labs and apply our sensory evaluation skills in a product tasting session!

We’ll finish at around 5 pm.

To prevent transportation problems, this time, the Business Committee will help with organizing NS group tickets for everyone who want to use that (it takes around 2h to get there). Please let us know whether you would like to go by group ticket, so we can divide you in equal groups. Of course, you can use your own way of transportation, as long as you make sure to be in time!

We will provide them with a list of names, so please check your calendar before you sign up! Registration closes on the 26th of April at 23:59 pm. If you have a problem afterwards and you can not join anymore, please let us know! Preferably before 30th April
