María Rodríguez Jiménez
''I chose to do this Masters Program at Maastricht University because it is a perfect combination between health, nutrition, business and innovation.''
My name is María Rodríguez Jiménez, and I am from Spain. I will be the new external commissioner of ISA Umami during this year 2020-2021. I did my Bachelors in Biotechnology in Madrid, after which I took a gap year. When I finished my gap year, I decided to start this Masters Program since I have always been interested in the field of nutrition. I chose to do this Masters Program at Maastricht University because it is a perfect combination between health, nutrition, business and innovation.
As the new external commissioner my main function is to maintain a clear and continuous communication between ISA Umami and our sponsors, alumnae, other student associations, and the Campus Venlo staff. Furthermore, I will try to get new sponsors for our association.
I consider myself an outgoing and open-minded individual, always willing to learn new things and meet new people. I am really happy to have the chance to work with this great team, and I am sure we will try our best to make this academic year interesting and fun for all the students!
See you all soon!
